It’s abject nonsense. Peer 2 Peer as a concept is heavily used by developers og legitimate Open Source software. Should the maker of blank VHS tapes, Cassettes, and DVD?CD’s be held responsible for the illegal use they are put too. Indeed if someone gets shot in the street is the arms manufacturer responsible. The Uk proposal’s appear to suggest that we can be barred from the web for excessive downloading even if they cannot prove it is illegal stuff. It is now our responsibility to prove innocence not thiers to prove guilt.It’s becoming more and more a state or even a world where there are two distinct laws for the two distinct groups. I am no way condoning Piracy, stealing is wrong whatever the excuse. But equally wrong is to punish us all guilty and innovent alike to make the rich even richer.
